1. Whole Profile Fucoidan (WPF)
Low Glycemic Index (GI) diets are used to prevent the rapid increase of blood glucose level after meal. Pizza, pasta, noodles and breads are all popular foods made by grain flours.  Unfortunately, they all have a high GI. Simpson Biotech’s all new Whole Profile Fucoidan (WPF) formulation is made up of enzymatically hydrolyzed brown seaweed extracts which can significantly inhibit both the amylase and glucosidase in gastrointestinal tract (Table1). According to our study results, oral administration of fucoidan before meals reduced postprandial blood glucose (fig1). Long-term supplementation with fucoidan reduced fasting blood glucose levels and increased glucose tolerance (fig2A, B) in diabetic rats.

2. Oligo Chitosan
Oligo Chitosan, officially named Chitooligosaccharide (COS), refers to small molecule hydrolyzed chitosan, whose degree of polymerization (DP) is about 2-10.
